GLASGOW STREET SCENES

Ian Mulholland

 

Ian was born in the Gorbals in 1941 and still lives  in Glasgow today.

 

He is a former student of the Alan Glens School where he attained a higher art degree.

 

Ian is still an active member of several art clubs and displays his works in the Peoples Palace, Pollokhouse, Scotland Street  School and other Glasgow Venues.

 

 His paintings mainly portray the old streets of Glasgow - with trams and tenamanets blocks. 

 

Glasgow street scene paintings stir the emotions and memories of people who lived in these streets in their youth and in particular for those who have moved away from Glasgow or even Scotland.
